A former Coast Guard judge advocate, John Gately has successfully represented clients in hundreds of courts-martial, medical boards and administrative proceedings.
John Gately focuses his practice on military disability and veterans rights issues, concentrating on representing active duty service members, Reservists and Guardsmen before the Physical Evaluation Boards of the various armed and uniformed services. This includes representing clients before the various Boards of Correction for Military and Naval Records on both disability and nonmedical issues. He also represents veterans on levels of claims before the Department of Veterans Affairs nationwide.
